OUR COLOURS

In the words of the late Dr. Mrs. Dora Akunyili; "Nigeria; good people; great nation." It's an undeniable fact that our country is one that's heterogeneous in terms of cultural and religious affiliations but in the midst of our diversities, it's important we project our values and virtues for the entire world to see.

On a fateful day like this in the annals of our history, it's of uncountable benefits to state without mincing words our true colours because it's what we say and do that we shall be taken to be by the whole world.

Without not being flippant, it's true that beyond green and white  colours of our national flag. Our true colors include honesty, integrity, hardwork, friendliness, visionary,  ability to be productive, resourceful, goals setting and getting among other enviable virtues.

Dr. Akinwumi Adesina is doing fantastic at African Development Bank as the president because the bank has been ranked as the most transparent bank in the world. Mrs. Okonjo Iweala is doing creditably well at World Trade Organization. The just unveiling of world largest single train refinery by Aliko Dangote also speaks volumes about the ingenuity and resilient spirits that Nigerians have to continually soar higher and greater in all fields of endeavours.

As another transition Program for new administration takes place today, every Nigerian is expected to be braced and resolve to display the true colours of the aforesaid virtues and values for the whole world to behold.

We can't disappoint ourselves let alone disappoint the whole world because we're the beacon of hope for the African continent and the rest of the world in all aspects of national life.

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

... and for a greater Nigeria; I choose to displaying true colours of  my dear country in terms of character.
