The Last Wall of Defence

The captain of a ship cannot defend it alone. Every man on deck is a wall of defence, and together, they become a formidable force, stronger than the Great Wall of China or the ancient walls of Jericho. Yet, a compromise by just one man can sink the entire ship.


Evil thrives in a willing heart and spreads in chains. Whether from the top down or the bottom up, a single loophole in the wall gives way to the deceitful thread of evil.


Those entrusted to secure lives now toy with them. Brothers no longer recognise their own. Tears and blood have become freely flowing commodities. No one seems ready to stand as a wall of defence.


We cannot continue to turn a blind eye. The consequences of yesterday’s evil have become our reality today... and if we remain insensitive, the consequences of today’s evil will shape tomorrow.


No one is coming to save us. You and I are the last wall of defence. Let it stop with me. Let it stop with you. Then the grip of evil will begin to weaken, and sooner than later, we will be bound together by the cord of love.


When you focus on doing what is right instead of dwelling on the problem, when you choose to learn, to restrategise, and not just evade but paralyse evil, you become the last wall of defence.


...and for this nation to rise again and take her place, I will stand on guard, doing what is right, in the right way, without compromise, as the last wall of defence!

  REPORIENTATION HUMANENESS Compassion is the missing piece of the Nigerian puzzle. Who can find it?  A university graduate is employed as a motorcycle rider, HND is become a requirement for gate keeping yet a single human sits on what can feed a million others with his face touching the skies. Ain't that  a very massive madness, when a sole man gobbles the sea sand that can create thousands of employment, into his little stomach? Second-hand goods have taken over every here and there. They have come to stay.  A great number of the  citizens cannot afford new things. Suffering has made this part of the world his dwelling place. We have assigned a royal seat for him. He dines and wines in plenteous just because someone has no compassion. The existence and struggles of others make no sense to him who is not compassionate. People are murdered and ordered out of their homes, properties are taken by force and gun, yet the country is peaceful is what they sing around....

 REPORIENTATION THE CONFUSED He knows not a bit about the contestants. She knows almost nothing about the current. He's not even aware of when it's taking place. Who else is planning not to cast a vote if not you? The most confused honourable citizen, what will you vote when you know not the candidates, the lantern or the star? You are surely planning to vote poverty and extreme  hardship with your ignorance. You are 'kuku' doing well since whoever wins the elections is nothing similar to your business.
