Will this Nation ever be good?



I have witnessed a wonder under heaven that begs for reflection and sorrow, that a land filled with opportunities will shut the doors against her own people.

I have seen a wonder amongst men that makes the earth shed tears of brokenness, that a Source still thirsts and hungers for its yields! 

Up till this moment of penning this thought, echoes of this question still linger in my mind as a heavy weight... Will this Nation ever be good? 

We are in the era of tragedies where the reign drains, rather than nourishes its people. The soaring status of resources set the masses lips singing the songs of discontent, even the strongest ones now tremble about the fear of the unknown future, everything is hard. 

Life should not be lived just for survival alone as this is the goal of everyone, beyond surviving, good works need to be embarked on, but the system is so strangulating.

Many clamour for division as the god of salvation, some desire the reign of the warlords as the messiah, still, is this the way forward? Either ways, I think we need a righteous awakening in every sphere to create a competent and honest supporting system.  

Hmm... 

Still, as the days pass and the questions grow louder, one must ask again... Will this nation ever be good? Only time will tell. But if the answer is to be yes, it will require more than hope and daily confessions, it will demand action, sacrifice, and a unified vision for a better tomorrow.


... and for a better Nation, for the birth of the Nation that'll be a role model to nations of the world, I'll continually offer my bits of sacrifices to see that this dream comes to pass.

  REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right. Our deeds follow us whithersoever we go and we should always be mindful of why we do what we do because it is directly proportional to our actions and it is a constant in the consequences of our actions.
