BRIDGES AND WALLS

Image
REORIENTATION BRIDGES AND WALLS Yea, I read someone wrote, "I will rather build a bridge than a wall." I'm certain both efforts are termed 'building.' All we do is build, bringing things together to meet a need. Although, both have needs they are supposed to meet. A bridge won't serve the purpose of a wall, neither will the latter serve the purpose of the former.  Inevitably, we have different purposes and characters but in all of these, bridges are a great magic in this massive world. One wouldn't know how important and stress-reducing bridges can be until they are found standing before a body of water that needs be crossed. A bridge is an access into the lives of men, a way to and fro. Don't just access the lives of men, be accessible. Be accessible to help your environment, be accessible to help your community and be accessible to help yourself.  Making a bridge would allow both followers and leaders alike, see the needs of one another and the on

GENERATIONS

Image
REPORIENTATION GENERATIONS There lived some generations that had their wants as a result of the way they lived. They never lived a contradictory life.Theirs was simple and progressive. I want a city free of traffic jam but I do not have the patience to take turns. We want a floodless city yet we litter everywhere with dirt at any slight opportunity, forgetting that little drops of water make a mighty ocean. The situation is beyond my control yet under my control. Alas! I choose to do the norm. The generations before served as role models but I excuse that their days were not stressful and demanding. I wonder what brought the stress now! My generation broke the cycle by not exhibiting what we were born into and we are best at complaining. My generation takes all things seriously except things that add value to communal living. Things will continue to grow worse if we do not make a reverse and follow the good ancient path.  Let us therefore, reconcile with our past and salvage the good

Today for you, tomorrow for me.

REPORIENTATION   Today for you, tomorrow for me. As the world dances to the tune of the motion of time, not subjected to the forces of pauses and stops, it rolls into our path opportunities to be a channel of blessing to another. Today for you, tomorrow for me, this is a picture of sacrifice, a painting of selfless living. To live for others today is  your sustenance tomorrow. To sacrifice your time and resources today and help your fellow human without any desire of "immediate gratification" is an essential life quality. Once you refuse to help because the other person can't give immediate reward today, you increase your chances of being denied help tomorrow. Everyone has their own season of being ushered into limelight, be a catalyst in the process of their manifestation. You're trying to shine today, I'll help you harvest stars from the skies, who knows, tomorrow, I might need a light to illuminate my path. Time and tide wait for no one, but it will eventuall

SPEED BETTER

Image
REPORIENTATION SPEED BETTER The days we sob for better roads stare us eye to eye. Days we cry and beg for those potholes to be removed from our paths. Yes, we made intercessions for the death traps to be fixed and protested that new ones be tared. Surely, many are yet to be fixed and more without number lies with no hope. Unfortunately, the few fixed ones do better in murdering men. Truely, they disjoint, distort and discontinue a good number from breathing. The fixed roads spread red carpet into the grave for the careless road users. The colourful speeches of the good roads make no sense to the one that speeds faster than FERRARI in his VOLKSWAGEN. Overspeeding sounds more like death than life. It takes the ones that have spare lives to play cross country on a public road competing for a trophy that never existed. Many drivers are not concerned about the wellbeing of their passengers while all enough of them care about is making journeys as many as possible, thus overspeeding li
