BRIDGES AND WALLS



Yea, I read someone wrote, "I will rather build a bridge than a wall."

I'm certain both efforts are termed 'building.' All we do is build, bringing things together to meet a need. Although, both have needs they are supposed to meet. A bridge won't serve the purpose of a wall, neither will the latter serve the purpose of the former. 

Inevitably, we have different purposes and characters but in all of these, bridges are a great magic in this massive world. One wouldn't know how important and stress-reducing bridges can be until they are found standing before a body of water that needs be crossed. A bridge is an access into the lives of men, a way to and fro. Don't just access the lives of men, be accessible. Be accessible to help your environment, be accessible to help your community and be accessible to help yourself. 

Making a bridge would allow both followers and leaders alike, see the needs of one another and the one would not live large at the expense of the other. When we make a bridge, there is a thorough flow of resources and everyone can go to bed with our eyes shut. Peace becomes a guest of honour even in our land and beauty will never refuse her a walk down here.

We all know the economic situation of the country is not as palatable as expected, nevertheless, we all strive hard to see through each passing day.   REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right. Our deeds follow us whithersoever we go and we should always be mindful of why we do what we do because it is directly proportional to our actions and it is a constant in the consequences of our actions.
