The Reorientators

REPORIENTATION OUR COLOURS In the words of the late Dr. Mrs. Dora Akunyili; "Nigeria; good people; great nation. " It's an undeniable fact that our country is one that's heterogeneous in terms of cultural and religious affiliations but in the midst of our diversities, it's important we project our values and virtues for the entire world to see.   On a fateful day like this in the annals of our history, it's of uncountable benefits to state without mincing words our true colours because it's what we say and do that we shall be taken to be by the whole world.   Without not being flippant, it's true that beyond green and white  colours of our national flag. Our true colors include honesty, integrity, hardwork, friendliness, visionary,  ability to be productive, resourceful, goals setting and getting among other enviable virtues. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina is doing fantastic at African Development Bank as the president because the bank has been ranked as the m...

REORIENTATION WHAT'S NEXT? All said and done, we look forward to having a bright day with a good hope that it will be quite better than yesterday. We look forward to a new year with the hope that it will be better than the previous. Same applies to our jobs, cars, relationship, government and our  other engagements. Questions are, we shouldn't forget to ask. What next is coming up? Are we ready for what's next? Are we ready for the next phase of life, the next project, the next job interview, the next promotion, the next assignment, the next government, the next technologies and many others. How prepared are we for what's coming next? How mentally, academically, technically, morally and emotionally prepared are we? We need not just look forward to a bright new day or a greener pasture or a better option or a better government, preparation to see the good days is no less important.  How prepared we are for what's coming up next matters. Our preparation towards havi...

REPORIENTATION FLUTTER A woman seeking divorce aggressively will certainly pick up enmity with the intercessors around and the end of her adventure might be grave. Simply eat your turkey and leave their cow skin; the more you linger the more your fingers get stained by the sauce. And tarry a little longer, the mosaic appears suddenly on your lips helplessly.  Even after decades, decadence still maintains an infallible record of success, leaving with luxury unlimited and spreads like forest fire. We have drifted far from the right route, going a particular course that will surely end in nothing good. We engage political parties as a standard in making choices for our national teams, in kings making, even in the leadership of our higher institutions  and churches. In all of this, we still pray and hope for excellent delivery. We have not only drifted away but drifted into unconsciousness, dead unto the red flags being waved here and there. Park managers have metamorphosed...

REPORIENTATION  RESILIENCE    "Naija no dey carry last" So does the popular saying go. It is no news to other countries of the world how resilient and determined Nigerians can be. Even in the face of grueling circumstances, we still find a way to thrive. Many agree that Nigerians will always try to salvage any situation. This inherent attribute of Nigerians is commendable and noteworthy. It only gets better with Nigerians in diaspora who will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. This is higly admirable as one of the recipees for success is tenacity and resilient. We have evolved to develop a thick skin against many of the challenges beguiling us. Thus, like air, we rise and triumph above all. However, we need to transcend the cusp of personal success, expand into new frontiers and break new fronts . We should extend our domains to societal and ultimately national success. If we apply the same principles responsible for individual success and modify accordingly, w...

REPORIENTATION SHOOT SOME HOOPS Jerk from that numbness, it's just too early to give in to defeat. Bet it is never too late get more goals in there. Shoot more hoops. Even when our heads are shaved far from where our consent dwell, we would not give up staying safe. It is never wrong to remain alive with life. But it is worse than being dead to be wholly mute under oppression. Shall we not watch out for what to do to stay alive? For whether we are dead or alive in the morass, it makes no meaning to our oppressors. They see, hear and smell the compulsory exit of innumerable daily, yet it remains a great harmony sung by a team of mosquitoes in their ears. No importance is attached to us save to be used to add inches to the depth of their nappa pockets. Oh! The owners of Nigeria, I hail thee. In the art of war, one needs to avoid unnecessary troubles. Yes, avoid the unimportant to live long enough to be a victor. Public fights and looting would be very useless in seeking a better Ni...

REPORIENTATION CONSULT NOT Do not consult that watch, it is not for your use. Agree not with that timing, it is obviously not in agreement with you. We trode our different routes here on earth, we were never friends. Be not moved by their rapid riches, timing can't be same for all. One can sell and make a mint, you may sell and make a loss, it's a matter of timing. Tomorrow it may be your turn to make a mint.   Even when the sky had darkened to a backdrop for thunder, it lightens just after the rain. No one dances to every beat, at least not all stings the neck with the same energy. Our seasons are just different.  The beautiful hip hugging skirts doesn't mean you are there, it may be whispering into your ears to work and walk smarter. When a day stretches luxuriously into evening in a row, such might be the dawn of a giant doom of another. The shimmering light of a careful man has been covered. And surely, the end of such friends of the devil is never pleasant. Do not ...

REPORIENTATION TENNEL SE BOP Put it down and get enough rest,  Get enough rest to let in enough thoughts,  Enough thoughts on erasing the dots, Dots of deceit and greed be gone! Oh! Put that head down, Ruminate and repent before it is late, For judgement will come upon him, Yes, upon him that shares meat with his teeth. I say put it down, put your head down, Put it down and think before the end comes, Before you exhaust the unhealthy money and are back to the base, Yes! Before the stone you projected is returned into your temple. Put your head down and lower your flag of lies, No one can be wiser than their deceiver, Yet the tides turn momentarily, And before the end comes upon you, put your head down and repent. ... and for a better Nigeria, I will reconsider my ways.  THE REORIENTATORS. ✓ 0252 Facebook: REPORIENTATION
