TURNING A BLIND EYE

Image
REPORIENTATION TURNING A BLIND EYE  "To eat one's cake and still have it" is a dream that slates its arrival in a few weeks from never.  There is no better time than now that it has dawned on us that lawlessness has eaten deep into the very fabric of our society. The glacier of moral rectitude is slowly melting away. Ineptitude in leadership has bred the ground for lawlessness to go on a rampage; unchecked.  Our legislature wears a regalia of perpetual saturnine and soporific demeanor. We have come to a state where nepotism and wrongs of such ilk is only condemned when it works against us. Should the tables be turned, we turn a blind eye.  Brings back to mind the symbol for justice adopted by the judiciary - a blindfolded woman holding a sword in her hand. Which demonstrates that true justice is no respecter of persons. . .. and to a better Nigeria, fairness and justice is the way! #THE REORIENTATORS ✓0225 Facebook: REPORIENTATION

THE BEGGAR

Image
REPORIENTATION THE BEGGAR We invest to gain nothing, even the capital is always involved in a partial mishap, yet we continue because it is some people's fully funded business. Accountability doesn't even exist in the industry. "Chai!" Our oil managers really need go back to school. The saviours, our  good health workers are streaming out of the country like  flocks since their package get worse daily and agreement is being broken day after day by the concerned party. Medical doctors are getting scarce, a huge number is retiring without replacement, many are flying away to a better region and enough have no job and are not being offered one.  I heard someone say that one day we would be left with Dr. SID and Small doctor.  We beg for bread and tea and still beg for toothpaste to service our mouths. We cannot just live with what we have, no, it is no longer in our culture. A privileged group would always want to feed their greed.  A co-passenger breathed into my ears

WISDOM

Image
REPORIENTATION WISDOM   In the priceless words of  the late Sir Winston Churchill;  " The only pathway to the temple of wisdom is to acknowledge our ignorance."   Nigeria is bleeding profusely; no doubt about this at all. The country is sweating under huge pressures of insecurity, banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and other wicked acts that are lodging in the hearts of several frustrated Nigerians. With the above realities we cannot but summon ourselves to the temple where we would be fed with words of wisdom on ways forward and how best to address all of our unpleasant issues for the betterment and development of our dear country.   As things stand now in our land we need wisdom on policies to adopt for the economy to be in good shape. We seriously need power of wisdom to prevail on ways to institute security apparatuses to protect lives and properties of citizens. We earnestly need wisdom to restructure several dysfunctional agencies, ministries, departments etc on best way
