In the court of law, witnesses are required to 'swear' to telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth because that’s the only way justice can be established. Yet, it’s still lies upon lies. The Holy book is believed to be based on truth yet we don’t spit it out. Despite all our devoted time to it,  we find it very difficult to speak the truth; we are so religious but not doing God’s will and that of the state. We neglect the truth and  welcome lies always.

Truth is the foundation for a fair and just society, yet governmental agents and private agents still tell lies, or pretend to be what they are not. For the sake of greater goods, we lie to make ourselves seem better and we never think about the consequential troubles that may befall us. We are far from being true to ourselves not to talk of others. We neither understand ourselves nor know our strengths and weaknesses. We never show who we really are so that our reputation won't be built on what we truly are, be it in public or private.

 Sometimes it is better not to say anything than to create problems for others with our lies.Truthfulness is of collosal importance. It is however, never acceptable to lie in order to make one to be perceived as a better individual or to avoid the troubles  one has brought on oneself already.


Mind you, giving false information about yourself makes people  unlikely to trust you some other times. Make a change today and be a better citizen.

  REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right.
