PEACE

The situation is pathetic wherein  the birds of the air are afraid of performing their rights in the atmosphere. The sphere where terrestrial animals are scared of moving, both in day light and even at night. This Community where humans cannot exercise their civic rights in calmness, is only a bit better than a poultry pen.

We cannot worship our God, attend ceremonies, go to the market, travel from one present location to another, and dare not sleep with both eyes shut in our self-built houses. The Nation is now a  coin thrown into the ocean, our financial status has dived in the speed of flash; citizens cannot even actualise their dreams with ease.

The old shed tears,  babies cry, children become visionless and close to the whole of the population do what comes their way. More than many live without hope and assurance of something good happening soon. Our leaders fight for their own bank accounts, trying to accomplish their set goals not minding whatever the members of the society holds.

Too many calamities befall a society where PEACE is absent. Love is shattered and the arm of brotherhood is dismantled. Care for one another becomes a taboo and both the living and non living in such society dwell in great unrest. That society has chaos as its culture.

The presence of PEACE is what  makes things go well. In a society where peace reign, prosperity is sighted and such society celebrates tranquility. It is stress-free and secure.  Everything coexists in perfect harmony. Members of such society  exercise their human rights without difficulty.

I define peace to be lack of conflict and freedom from fear of violence between individuals. And very many tanks of it is needed here.

...and for a better Nigeria, I stand to make peace reign in my nation.
