Breaking the Cycle of Corruption Web

From the pinnacle to the pavement

From boardrooms to street corners

Like a spider web, it is being weaved in the highs and lows, its dual nature is like the two sides of a coin, a single problem that is visible at the top and bottom, wearing different masks and assuming different shapes.

It is a shame that the corridor of power meant to execute justice and uphold integrity has been encapsulated by the nets of corruption and it seems like there's never going to be a way out. The volume of this cancerous web has extended across the length, width and depth of the nation, making her look like an unredeemable soul.

Well, if the foundation of a thing be solid, there remains a lifeline for hope but alas, as it is above, so it is below. The corruption culture flows freely like torrent even among the lower strata of the nation, hence imprinting corrupt practices as a normal way of life, for according to them, it's a survival strategy. From petty bribery and unethical business practices to nefarious daily transactions, this corruption web forms like a rainbow, without ends.

We cannot allow this state of affairs to persist. Clearing this web is beyond mere brooms and sticks; it necessitates active participation and cooperation of all strata. Initiatives promoting transparency and accountability within the grassroots and top agencies should be strictly prioritized.

...and to break the suffocating webs of corruption eating up our nation, I believe it's not the duty of only the elites but also the ordinary citizens, and to dismantle this destructive cycle, I'll be committed to change, transparency and accountability.
