THE KILLER



 He cuts it off not without a trace of battle

Battles, between him and himself

 They thought and fought for aye 

The tug of war that had no end

 They keep fighting even after "the end"

Their decision hugged and clashed;

no victor no vanquish 

Whose battle is it ?

His or his ? 

No one knows until he either swallows  it up or it swallows him up.



 The prices of food items have grown wings they've always been geometrically progressive. I am sure you are also aware that the prices of fuel (gas, diesel, petrol, charcoal, firewood etc.) are taking giant strides. House rent is not  smiling anywhere in the world either; they are life-threatening.


You cannot forget too quickly that sales are dragging.  Even electricity tarrif is no joke. It's no news school fees are hopping. Ain't flooding, unemployment, lack and hardship runways to hades? All these are good reasons for people to jump into rivers, seas and oceans. Yes, they are reasons enough for one to run into a coming vehicle.  BET THEY ARE!


But in all of these, remember that these issues are not  customized for you alone, it is affecting the world. You are not in this alone, Mrs. Stone of London still has no job, Miss Song of  China has nothing similar to luxury to enjoy and Mr. Felix of France is still very destitute. Give no space for depression, it is a killer. Who makes one irrational other than the inability to see a better future? Suicide would make nothing better but to add  sorrow to the bread of family and friends.


Only the strong and the enduring lives to see the end of the tunnel. You can always do too. See something good in your future. Don't give up, don't ever give up.


...and for a glorious future, I am full of hope.

  REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right. Our deeds follow us whithersoever we go and we should always be mindful of why we do what we do because it is directly proportional to our actions and it is a constant in the consequences of our actions.
