APPRECIATION



Appreciation gives meaning to life and brings great joy to many in their daily activities. It goes a long way extending the length of life as happiness could be responsible for wellness. Yes...

 

A good meal served by a lovable wife, enjoyed by the husband but  without the word for the moment, rather choosing to say "Next time I want swallow," is highly dishonourable.

Remember, services rendered to you by a taxi driver/ motorcycle pilot you pay should end with the word. There might be more than you know happened on your way to the designated place you instructed.


 The good services rendered by junior workers at your place of work should not be received with less care, use the word. Teachers do great job to educate your children yet you think your money does it all. In churches where you have godly worshippers and instrumentalists and every service seems great, forget not that it is human God use to make that day great, celebrate them. Are you the cleric that gets to mosque, lead prayers and sermon and everything goes well but will not appreciate the ones involved? Be sure that one or two left their jobs to make that assembly orderly and beautiful.


 Parents find it difficult to use the word of the moment for their children and children find it difficult to use it for their parents. Senior officials find it  downgrading to use such word of appreciation for their junior officers, rather, they  prefer stating complaints. Complaints never end well when they are not made well. Complaints not embedded in appreciation destroy.



You can save a soul today by putting a smile on that face. Remember to make someone happy today by appreciating their efforts.

  REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right. Our deeds follow us whithersoever we go and we should always be mindful of why we do what we do because it is directly proportional to our actions and it is a constant in the consequences of our actions.
