KNOWLEDGE

I know the above makes reference to formal education but what wonders we are performing in our educational sector that makes anyone that misses it miss life is what I am yet to possess the understanding of.  We want miracles to happen even when our practices are not too good. Our educational sector is as valuable as what-not. Good teachers are not encouraged, many don't even have a sustainable job. All thanks to many private school owners who afford them their daily meal even when they make it difficult for them to access the meal.


I do not understand the educational system that gives students who didn't get good marks in their examinations especially UTME  a very good opportunity to be enrolled in the College of Education. What is worth celebrating in that system?  Must the ones in charge of that sector always give low cut off marks for admission into our Colleges of Education? 


Why won't we have half baked teachers, when many of those students did not have interest from genesis? Thus their exodus ends without passion, they wander on the field. They just wanted to be somewhere since they could not have enough marks for their dreams. I celebrate the ones that find their passion while trying and I celebrate the great teachers we have been divinely blessed with. But our educational system is not doing less in discouraging going to school. 


I laugh... you think people can't succeed without formal educational qualifications? I will show you a good number of them who have. "Who the qualifications help?" A good number with those qualifications is still struggling to be in equilibrium with life. "Hmmm, inside life, enough movies dey."


Parents are even struggling out of the little they earn in this terrible period to send their issues to school and abductions will not allow them take responsibility in peace. "O ma ga o!" What then is encouraging in that investment? 


We just leave the main issues to fallow and raise the banners of the extremely unimportant ones and blow horns. Cover up lines and lies drop like rhymes, fresh from the mines. Isn't the person who is not participating in our formal education not missing the funny bonnets of the inadequacies that have bedevilled the sector? A total shift from the goals of the owners of the vision.


Nevertheless, knowledge is of great importance, get knowledge as much as you can to help yourself, community and the nation you belong. I have not discouraged schooling, all I have pointed is that the people in charge just need do what is right and save the sector from its mishaps.


In conclusion, culture is different for different geographical locations, each culture is an identified way of overcoming certain difficulties. No matter what the difficulty is, cut a way through the rocks with your tools. Whatever legal way works for you is  the way. Follow not the multitude but be sure of your insight. 



..and for a better living, we need know, do what we know, teach and make learning easier and full of comfort for others with interest!

  REPORIENTATION SEMBLANCE Why wear the coats of a servant when you know the shoes of a king is what suits you?  We appear to kneel but our hearts sits like a queen. Our voices say good morning but our faces have a firm grip on rods,  beating breath out of man on a bad morning.  We are the exact opposite of our barks.  A man who owes tax but killed a fat goat for festivity has done more harm than good. He may be crowned a saviour for providing what the mouth enjoys for the few he knows but should also be stoned for depriving the hundreds he knows not, some social amenities. Why we do what we do matters just as what we do.  We can't hide our shadows but it is not something to worry about when our location is right. Our deeds follow us whithersoever we go and we should always be mindful of why we do what we do because it is directly proportional to our actions and it is a constant in the consequences of our actions.
